ALL PROCEEDS to Ramana's Garden Orphanage in Rishikesh, India
ALL PROCEEDS to Ramana's Garden Orphanage in Rishikesh, India
Would you like to learn a little more about the Gods & Goddesses of Yoga and the ancient Indian traditions? You may have heard a little about Gaṇeśa, the elephant-headed deity known for his wisdom and playfulness, or Kāli the fierce Goddess of time, destruction and re-birth. This calendar will inspire you to understand these Deities a little more with beautiful images, mantras, and stories. This beautiful wall calendar has been lovingly created by Laura Green, Sunitha Narayan and myself. We hope this calendar will light a spark of curiosity and wisdom within you. All proceeds from the Charity Calendar will be donated to Ramana's Garden Children's Home in Rishikesh, India. Laura's visited this charity back in 2019 whilst on a yoga retreat in Rishikesh and will be returning in 2023 for our Yoga Pilgrimage Retreat. The children who live in Ramana’s Garden have been determined to be ‘at risk’. Each child that comes through this gate arrives because they would be at risk of either child labour, begging, starvation, forced into prostitution, or total neglect otherwise. Ramana’s Garden takes these children in and gives them a loving home, family and education. |
