Welcome, nature lover,

At the threshold of the autumn equinox, we invite you to step away from the noise of everyday life and follow Persephone into the quiet beauty of the shifting season.
This is a day of mythic yoga, folklore, foraging and nature connection, woven around the ancient Greek story of Persephone and Hades.

Persephone’s descent marks the beginning of autumn. The earth draws its energy inward. Seeds disappear beneath the soil. Trees release their leaves. The light begins to wane.
Yet the darkness is not empty.
It is where roots deepen, seeds are held, and unseen transformations begin.

The morning will be guided by Lauren through storytelling and mythic yoga. After a nourishing two-course lunch, local folklorist and forager Sammie Longhorn will lead us into the woodland to meet the plants, stories and traditional remedies of early autumn. We will then create a seasonal tincture to take home.

No previous experience of yoga, foraging or Greek mythology is needed. Simply bring your curiosity and a willingness to listen to the land.
