Combine your unique love of yoga with dedicated time to further your craft as a teacher; to uplift, invigorate and inspire your students. Join Senior Yoga Teacher Laura Green and myself as we harness the potent energy of The Summer Solstice during this retreat-style training. Dive deeper into the ancient teachings of yoga, connect to the subtle body and elevate your teaching skills. Combine ancient teachings of philosophy, history, mythology and culture with contemporary movement practices, somatics nervous system regulation, the alchemy of touch and so much more. You'll journey deeper into yourself, your yoga and your spiritual practice as well as truly stepping into your light as an embodied, intuitive and authentic teacher. Our ethos is simple, to empower every teacher with the skills, knowledge and confidence to be of service in their community and honour the ancient wisdom of yoga. This training is inclusive of 25 hours Advanced CPD. |

Course Content
Creative AbundanceOur retreat takes place over the days following the summer solstice, an abundant time to expand your knowledge for this ancient practice. We'll harness the light, bright, creative energy of the sun to inspire us through creative sequencing, meditation, mythology, history, mantra, kirtan, nervous system regulation, honing our voice and language, the subtle body and honouring our place as embodied leaders!
We'll also enjoy a complimentary practice of watercolour well-being led by the brilliant Lisa, of Iris Hill Art & Yoga. Her creative energy will spark an afternoon of intuitive movement. |
Philosophy & CultureOver the retreat we'll delve into the myriad of ways you can interweave and honour the vast roots of yoga.
The History of Yoga (including the impact of Colonialism) and work to evolve and improve our own understanding and teaching. The evenings will include supplementary practices like: The Bhagavad Gita and it's teachings to empower you as a teacher and spiritual seeker. Exploring the key concepts within the Gita of Dharma, Karma, The Paths of Yoga and the Gunas as well as a Kirtan to celebrate the mythological roots of yoga. |
Skills for your TeachingExplore mindful, heartfelt touch as a way to support your students' experience how to touch not just the physical body, but also the emotional and spiritual body. Explore a new way to communicate kind-hearted adjustments, layered pose options, inclusive language, intuitive movements, energy releases, blissful savasana massage and manual pose assists.
We'll also consider your marketing, your business and your brand and how this aligns with your soul's purpose. Ensuring your students see the wise teacher you are. |

With vast grounds that take you straight up onto the moors, a babbling brook, elegantly simple rooms, two yoga shalas, a quiet library and a light and airy kitchen diner you're sure to feel at home. There are various National Trust, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and local towns well worth exploring either side of the retreat. |
