Welcome Soul Searcher,
Yoga's language is a living heartbeat; the words we speak carry meaning. The words we hear in class often float past us. Familiar. Beautiful. But sometimes vague. This course invites you to slow down and meet them properly. To feel how language shapes attention, belief, and action. Across twelve weeks, we will explore beautiful sanskrit words within yoga's philosophy. Not as definitions to memorise, but as concepts to live with. Each word becomes a companion for the week. Something to listen to, practise with, and notice in daily life. This is yoga beyond the poses. Yoga as literacy. Not to fuel the mind, but to enliven the heart. For 30 minutes each week, you will be guided through a steady ritual structure, designed to support consistency, clarity, and depth. Each session includes:
Why join? - Develop confidence with core yogic language - Understand Sanskrit terms beyond surface translation - Experience philosophy as tangible, not abstract - Build a short, repeatable weekly practice - Explore yoga as a lived path, not just a class |
What to Expect..
Each week we'll explore with soft movement, mudrā, meditation and mantra, they're benefits, teachings and philosophies.
|
Week 1-3: Begin
We'll begin with words we hear often: śānti, ānanda and śiva. Week 4-6: Lift the Veil
Then we'll explore words that can shadow & set us free: māyā, samskāra & tapas |
Week 7-9: Feeling
Words that explain subtle sensation: śakti, spanda & śri Week 10-12: Illuminate
We'll end with words that are like the light at the end of the tunnel: sangha, tejas & sangha. |
This course will contain some movement but won't be a full āsana class.
"I have just practised the replay, oh my, that was so beautiful, I absolutely loved it and I could listen to Lauren chanting all day long! Thank you so much for sharing, I can't even begin to tell you how that has made me feel!"
