Welcome Peace Seeker..
Yoga has many facets from movement to heal and expand our physical capabilities and focused breathing to enhance our awareness from moment to moment. But within this course we'll delve into the depth of meditation & mantra recitation, the yoga of the mind and heart respectively to bring more peace to our lives. Śānti means peace - a feeling we hope to install with regular yoga practice and yoga connects us to aspects of ourselves that we may have skipped over entirely otherwise, the more we practice the more we uncover. Each week we'll centre our practice around a style of śānti meditation and how it can benefit us, we'll then study and learn an accompanying śānti mantra to continue our ever-unfurling understanding of how peace is ever present. What to Expect..
Each week we'll explore a meditation and mantra, they're benefits, teachings and philosophies.
Week 1:
Personal śānti: oṃ śāntiḥ mantra What's peace and how can language become a gateway to peace? Week 2:
Collective śānti: Oṁ Sahanā vavatu mantra How can peace become more of a collective movement? |
Week 3:
Ever-present śānti: śānti pāth mantra How can peace become a state of mind for all, everywhere? Week 4:
Timeless śānti: Pavamāna mantra How can we tap back into śānti consistently? |
This course will contain some movement but won't be a full āsana class. We'll have seated time in conversation and writing.

Who's it for?This course is open to all who are curious about yoga beyond the poses.
Students of yoga will be given the tools to embody peace with ancient meditation techniques and mantra recitation. Teachers of yoga will be sent a 6 hour CPD certificate of completion. It is my hope that a ripple effect of peace can wave from me to you and out into the world. |
