Welcome nature lover,
As we kick start the year we have numerous intentions to 'be healthier', 'get stronger' or 'relax more' yet come March we've faltered. For me the kick up the bum I needed was ayurveda.. It's true that we seek balance in life and often we only notice this when we're off kilter. For example when we get a blocked nose and miss the days of easeful breathing. Ayurveda is known as the sister science of yoga, supporting our physical, mental and emotional selves to regulate and consistently feel good. This may feel like a tall order, after all who can feel good ALL the time? Ayurveda's affirmation is: prevention over prescription. Through this day retreat we'll explore the elements that make up this world and us, how we can look to them to more deeply understand our inner workings and find a happy balance. We'll explore through yoga, conversation, a doṣa exploration, delicious food and of course, time in nature. |
