Hey there Oceanid..
Do you feel the call of the water, the wild nature of the current bringing a flow to your body and mind?
You may already know that I'm a HUGE fan of wild swimming and of course, yoga. Are you too?
Then I invite you to jālā flow yoga.
'jālā' means water in Sanskrit and describes the embrace of ebb and flow we wish to entice to the beginning of our day. Bringing ourselves into a flow state, at one with nature's most beautiful element.
So what's included?
A 60-minute yoga practice with an lake view.
The option to swim afterwards.
Indoor changing rooms & showers for after your swim.
A cup of tea & a snack to warm and soothe your soul.
*Please know the swim is optional and not guided - You have a community of avid swimmers around you to ask questions though.
+ And don't forget to bring a mug for tea afterwards!
What do I need?
Once booked you'll get a conformation email with directions and parking information. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the class start time.
A Yoga mat & any props you like.
Swimwear & a towel.
A mug for tea afterwards.
Shoes to take you to and from the lake.
Our practice will take place at the stunning purpose built, fresh water lake at Andark.
Parking is directly behind the Andark Shop on the main road with a little walk up to the lake.
There's lovely river side walks, pubs and cafe's in the local area should you wish to lengthen your day.
Good to Know..
The above price is all inclusive but you do not have to swim if you're not comfortable. Andark Lake however is the perfect place to embrace cold water swimming. A fresh water lake with beach style entry, warm, dry changing rooms, showers, free parking and a cafe.
You're welcome to join for tea afterwards regardless.
